now that I know
their name
I see them everywhere
hydrangeas

now that I know
their name
I see them everywhere
hydrangeas

today’s sun
shines on old books
new again

reading a book
I bought used
some time ago
words that bless
today

November sunroom
orange lilies from a store
in the blue vase

trimming the stems
of carnations
and giving them
fresh water
October sun
