January day
red carnations from a store
by windows with snow

January day
red carnations from a store
by windows with snow

Christmas Eve morning
memories and prayers
hope for the new year
so much can grow
from small hopes
Christmas Day

winter winds
I wonder how many storms
the spruce tree has known
clouds and sky
spruce tree branches
as still as a painting

That I may publish
with the voice of thanksgiving,
and tell of all thy wondrous works.
Psalm 26: 7 (KJV)

many roads
I no longer travel
more poems in the garden
than I could ever write

reading a book
I bought used
some time ago
words that bless
today

November sunroom
orange lilies from a store
in the blue vase

time with old friends
poems in a journal
from years ago

fall light
in my study
wonderful to read

routine errands
never routine
country roads
