The perennial gardens are growing so well. Tulips have bloomed, bleeding hearts, and daffodils. Daylily plants fill the gardens, flowers July. Days are longer, and I am grateful. Birds stay, birds return, and butterflies too.

always a blessing
gardens we know
well

my heart sees

September 3, 2025 Ellen Grace Olinger

my heart sees
what is no longer here
buildings and changes
over time

my heart sees
people I knew
and gardens that grew
in different places

I write from my heart
and my heart sees
in new ways again
