Poem: Seasons

August 28, 2026 Ellen Grace Olinger

seasons
and years
calendar by
my computer

yet also when
birds return and
leave again
and birds who stay

the plants and flowers
that picture the time
leaves and colors
the light

and when
the days are short
holiday lights

then the light
in January
and all is new
