September . . .
ivy house plant
and birch tree
share the same
afternoon sun

late August light

late August light
shines in the room
in a quiet way
small green leaves
in a little wind
reading poems
I have read before

Ellen Grace Olinger, 2021

early Sunday
silence and sun
gardens grow
